Green Tree Campaign
The work of Ecooldesigns in this project includes raising awareness of the environment and the importance of tree conservation in Mirpur.This includes on the ground environmental projects and plantation awareness, with the inclusion of school children and the local community.
BUY SAPLINGS
Plants are obtained from the local market in order to protect them from the effects of the weather and to ensure high success rate in local soil.
PLANTING
Tree planting is carried twice a year from 15th February to 15th March and from 15th July to 15th August in this region.
Care
Relatively large plants are planted in order to reduce the chances of smaller saplings not reaching maturity. A caretaker is on hand to make sure that the plants get the best possible chance in their first year.
